re: #160 Killian Bundy

Technically, she was sunk by a destroyer torpedo attack after hous of brutal, point blank shelling.

/the Swordfish just damaged the rudder

Actually, the fatal torpedoes were fired by the heavy cruiser HMS Dorsetshire. The Dorsetshire survived Bismarck by less than a year: In April of 1942 she was caught without air cover in the Indian Ocean by IJN ‘Val’ dive bombers from the carriers Hiryu and Soryu. The dive bombers that destroyed her and her consort HMS Cornwall scored a never-to-be-equaled 90% hit or near miss rate, only to be mostly destroyed in their own turn when their carriers were sunk by USN dive bombers at Midway.
