Your are right of course. Perot’s energy & issues of cleaning out undue lobbyist influence and fixing the government budget drew many votes from Bush Sr.

Bush Sr. ought to have asked Ross Perot to join his campaign or administration, to fight the alligator-shoed lobbyists and to cut the budget.

Bush Sr. seemed out of gas & ideas, and should have embraced Perot’s followers.

Yeah, except that Perot falsely accused the Bush campaign of threatening to release doctored photos of him and his daughter.

Don’t get me wrong I liked Perot - I just thought he was out of his element. He would have made a better cabinet member.
