No, that’s not the big problem. The big problem is lack of economic growth mixed in with a sovereignty wrecking transnational federation whose competence is coming into doubt.

The real problem is that the EU member states have too much fiscal sovereignty to maintain a single currency. Early retirement age in Greece is 57, in Germany it’s 65. That’s an untenable discrepancy.
