The basis for the death penalty in the U.S., for example, is based on the notion of “eye for an eye.” The idea that if you kill someone, the punishment should be that you are killed.

I don’t see all death penalty supporters as being extremist terrorists.

Maybe if I wasn’t so tired I’d be able to figure out where you’re going with this.

Unfortunately, I’m lost.
