No, it’s not a groundswell. There are opportunistic astroturfers (Odom, Ruffini), nutball groups (constitution party, Ronulans, see the rest of KT’s list,) and Fox News leading the effort. Average Republicans don’t “groundswell” or demonstrate, they get out and vote on election day. The rest of the time they are paying attention to their job, their family, barbecues, pop warner football and little league. Those are the things that really matter to them. The problem is when you drag in the nutballs and make them the face of the groundswell you sure aren’t going to appeal to the suburban family types, which is the biggest part of the loss of our base the past two elections.

It’s the business park and tech park Republicans who have gone missing, and we need to get them back. Luap Nor isn’t going to do that.
