I don’t have a problem with that either but when I hear some asswipe state proudly that he’s an “italian-american” or a “greek-american” and then you find out they’ve never even been close to visiting their homeland…well, I find it annoying. Most of the people like that I’ve run into are just looking for a way to fit into a group when their ancestors already chose to come join the best group on the planet.

I’m sorry, but if it annoys you to have someone say they’re Italian-American, you don’t have enough adversity in your life.
