Unfortunately no. This guy is STRICTLY enrolled for a student visa and won’t listen to anyone about anything. It is my honest opinion that the only way he might modify his behavior is with a threat of losing his visa. I, of course, feel badly for my other students…but if the institution won’t act in their interest by attempting to modify the behavior of a known bad actor, there is not much that someone in my position can really do.

Is there a formal body in the school charged with sorting out this situation? No EEO/omsbudsman sort of thing?
