It’s a double edged sword really. The name and connections his father and brother brings also brings well the name his father and brother has. I am not surprised he’s bombing. He’s got none of his father’s smarts nor his brother’s aw shucks likability.

He’d be the nominee in a less populist year, simply by choking out his opposition with his many contacts, but insider maneuvering isn’t going to win this primary, and shorn of that advantage Jeb hasn’t got what it takes to win.
