They really need to break this down further in their statistics. Instead of “White Voters” we need “White Voters Inside/Outside the Former C.S.A.”. I think that would give us a much clearer picture.

Funny thing, though - Look at West Virginia, which broke off from Virginia specifically over slavery and secession. Now Virginia has turned blue and WV deep, deep red.
