It’s happened to me a couple of times. It usually gets backed up with some company policy violation bullshit.
One company fired me for inappropriate use of their email system. You see, I had the unmitigated gall to receive inappropriate, unsolicited emails. Not send mind you, but receive.
I’m sure it had nothing at all to do with the fact that I brought up possible state and federal labor law violations regarding another company policy just three days prior to my termination.
