I’d argue what a lot of people who are getting antsy really want is for this all to be over with, which they figure is going to happen the moment Mueller announces his investigation has concluded and his report is released. That the moment that happens, Trump’s acts will come to an immediate halt and some measure of sanity will be restored to American politics.

Well, the unfortunate reality is they won’t and it won’t. Impeachment is a long and involved process, which is really what it should be in order to ensure that it is not invoked on a whim or in a fit of political pique. And even if he’s indicted, Donny will still be able to serve while he fights it in the courts. So I think stories like Buzzfeed’s do us a disservice by raising our hopes that there will be a fast “solution” to all this.
