I am recalling what the reaction was when Philly declared a weather emergency on December 26 and the Eagles game was postponed. There were a lot of people who were upset including former Mayor and current Governor Ed Rendell. Hmm. Is it better to have someone’s car destroyed and have a game go on as planned or is it better to have a game postponed and no car destroyed? I personally would rather have the cars off the road so that streets can be cleared and a game can be played later.
