What does the good reverend have to say about Rick Santorum or the newly converted Newt Gingrich? Especially Gingrich, who chose to join the cult of Roman Catholicism to satisfy his third wife?

Good grief.

I can understand those who are raised in a religion, or even those who weren’t and adopt one for all the reasons some people need that, but when people, like Beck or the Newt, change for personal reasons that likely have nothing to do with a sudden realization that they have discovered the ultimate truth, then this strikes me as no more sincere than changing cars because the old one wasn’t cool enough.
