At the very least they should shift them into the Silencer category under the NFA. Require an ATF Form 4 and $200 tax stamp for all purchases and transfers. If we actually gave a shit about impacting gun crime in some meaningful way that’s what we’d do.

Doable might be shifting them into the AOW category, which reduces the tax stamp to $5.
