Not sure what the loudest concert I’ve been to was. Maybe Metallica, but that was at the LA Coliseum, so it didn’t have the same effect as some arena or smaller venue shows.

Pretty sure my Foghat/Boomtown Rats concert was at the Chicago Amphitheater, which has to be the single worst venue for concerts ever. If you didn’t hear the tunes coming off the stage, you could always pick em up again as they bounced off the cement walls.

I saw Zappa (my first concert), Black Sabbath, Guess Who, and others not immediately coming to mind, there.

Still..worst venue in the world.
