I wonder if Smollett has any idea the damage he’s done to the all too real victims of right wing aggression.

I don’t know. I really hope so because if it’s true, what he did really gave a bunch of right wing assholes ammo not just to deny that people are attacked for their race and or sexuality by right wing assholes but for right wing assholes to attack people and for the police to take their allegations less seriously. I don’t doubt that Smollett as a gay black man has experienced homophobia and racism in his life. Which is why what he did was so fucking stupid and selfish.
