No, Not a vested interest. Only the fools who kept repeating the MOBY talking point: “we have to go through carter to get to Reagan” want to see the country deliberately injured under Obama to “teach the voters a lesson.” (See hot air for examples)

Many will cheer it because it would validate their ideology
