I’m gonna go glass half full here and say good on her for “US Senator Amy Klobuchar states that atheist voters are not a political liability for presidential hopefuls.”

I remember when wingnuts went crazy over President Obama acknowledged us in a speech.

The fact is we are a political liability, which is why Klobuchar didn’t directly say “no” and instead spoke to separation of church and state in the Constitution.

If an organisation such as American Atheists or the Secular Coalition of America endorsed a candidate, that candidate would be doomed.

All a politician has to do is campaign against someone being supported by atheists or being one, as I am painfully aware.
