I’m thinking so too. The Repugs know that a breakdown in the rule of law will force a violent reaction: That is specifically why they are forcing it. They even know that Repug capital assets will be targeted. They are fully prepared to mow down hordes of molotov flinging rioters who charge them like the Zulu at Rorke’s Drift. They are dreaming of it, it is their life’s ambition. They are convinced that their talisman-guns and inherent brutality will win it all for them.
Well, I have been poking around on the dark web again.
There is a lot of bullshit there, not just mountains of it, but whole planets and solar systems. Nevertheless, there are also some very astute and resourceful folks who have not yet shown their hand (for the obvious reason that there has been no justification for doing so.) When gun militias get semi-official sanction for their vigilantism and barbarism, it will be justified. Billions in assets will go up in flames, literal and figurative, but It will not happen the way the militias expect. The gun goobers won’t know what hit them.
