Does Fox really care about any of that? Or do they just care about making money? I’m not sure they care if they hurt the Republicans or not, so long as they are pulling in the viewership. I suspect they care about shaping the story to sell more viewership, but I don’t think they care what happens in Washington.

I was travelling (I don’t have cable at home) when the Japanese Earthquake/Tsunami hit, and the coverage was so completely out there and sensational it was mind blowing. CNN and MSNBC were bad too, but Fox was orders of magnitude worse. Hours after all three had erroneously reported radiation levels, Fox was still running with it. CNN and MSNBC had long corrected themselves.
