You’re also right about Chapelle. I’m not sure what he’s like as a day to day human, or what hurt and/or other issues he deals with. But I think when your “comedy” involves a mean spirit and your own fears or anger, that’s sort of the opposite of comedy, pretty much.

As I get older, the less I even remotely understand most of the humans around me. Sigh.
