There has been pundit speculation as to Olbermann’s state ( read soundness) of mind as well, from some of his colleagues, a while back. I believe it was his feud with O’Reilly that started it. He tends to try to get people he disagrees with fired, which is not exactly an indicator of a balanced personality.

He’s a blowhard for sure, and personal accounts seem to say that he’s a bully, a narcissist, and a jerk in various ways— but he isn’t breaking down in tears on screen like Beck or any of the rest of it. No comparison. He’s more like O’reilly or Limbaugh: cynical bullies filling a profitable niche, IMO.
