Also, his ultimate plan succeeded and saved humanity from th thinking machines. Your boy is still loosing the war and needs to have thousands of psychics sacrificed to his vampiric corpse form to survive, because unlike Leto, who destroyed thousands of assassins, your boy f’d up!

And while we are at it, your boy has grungy space marines in super bulky armor that clearly are overcompensating for something, while the God Emperor has ultra hot, selectively bred to be lethal, lesbian ninjas as well as legions of Saudukar and Fremen.

To clear up some confusion regarding some geekdom earlier this week, on fictional Galactic Emperors,

When discussing Emperors, the first one that usually springs to mind is Emperor Palpatine of the Star Wars series is the first to come to mind in most. First off, lets establish the fact that in the long run, he was a failure. He had no real successor and his Empire promptly broke into numerous warring factions upon his death. There is no evidence of his conquering or expanding the empire, merely imposing his rule over breakaway worlds from the Republic. Length of rule: 20-25 years

The God Emperor of Dune comes next, being named Emperor as the head of the noble house which seized the throne. His longevity and super powers were granted to him via drug use and bonding with an alien life form and his eventual goal was to breed humans who would be able to defeat him and others who shared his precognitive abilites. Length of rule: appx 2000 years.

Finally we have the God Emperor of Mankind. Born around 6,000 BC in what is today known as Turkey, and imbued with the mystic knowledge and traditions of prehistoric shamans, the Emperor was tasked with safeguarding humanity when their true psychic potential was unleashed. For millenia, the Emperor worked behind the scenes, ensuring humanities long term survival and evolution.
