Anti-Israel ads at Westchester train stations stir controversy

NEW ROCHELLE - An advertisement at Metro-North train stations in the Hudson Valley is once again stirring up some controversy.

The latest ad, paid for by American Muslims for Palestine, says “End apartheid now. Stop U.S. aid to Israel.”

The group is urging commuters to call for an end to the billions of dollars that the United States sends to Israel every year. “Allowing this foreign aid to go to Israel- the U.S. is essentially supporting Israeli policy of expansion, of continued building settlements, of human rights violations,” says Dr. Hatem Bazian.
