A Freeper was going on about how great it would be to have Trump as president because people would fear us. Eventually the fear would turn to respect.

Aside from the stupidity of wanting people to be afraid of the US, I can’t think of a single instance where I’ve had fear turn into respect. It makes you wonder what kind of family they grew up in.
