IIRC, when Cheetolini was on the Late Show during the election, Colbert went right at him about the birtherism bullshit. Trump was bascially “I don’t want to talk about.”

Then Colbert opened up with all guns and the resulting exposed hypocrisy ruined Trump’s chances and he dropped out the following week.

Wait, sorry. That’s what should have happened. For God knows what reason, Colbert was all like “Hey, no prob, dude”, and dropped it.

For all of Colbert’s sound and fury regarding Trump, I will never ever understand why let that motherfucker off the hook like that.
