There aren’t quite as many dogs needing rescuing as cats, because most people like dogs, but not everyone likes cats.

We hand-raised a litter of 4 kittens when the mom died when they were 3 weeks old - we’ve rescued 2 litters from drowning in the drain where the mama-cat liked to have her kittens not realizing the drain would fill with water during a rain - and my best story - my dog found an abandoned kitten in a ditch, and the kitten followed him home!
