I still haven’t been to my grandmothers’ gravesites yet. Part of it is that I haven’t really stayed long enough in Indiana to visit them, but the rest of it is that I know the emotions I’d feel would be overwhelming. Props to you for your strength.

When we travel to my wife’s home town, we stop to see her parents tombstone, and right next to it, hers. Her mom bought one for her when she was in college. The chances of my wife being buried in her home town are near 0.
