I went for a bike ride today, a short 18 mile put. The air was cool, 60F, and moving along at 15 MPH it chilled my nose which started running from the cold air. I need to find a solution for winter riding. Maybe ride with a KN-95 mask on to keep the nose warm.

I used to love to cross country ski in the wilderness in the dark using a headlamp. I’m going to get some lights for night riding since the days are getting short. Trail riding by headlights seems to be similarly attractive to me as skiing by headlamps. I’m weird that way.

That’s some piss poor front lighting. (My current headlight came on the bike and is slightly less piss poor but not by much.) I’m thinking of 4-1000 lumen headlights. I’ve got brake and taillights and a safety flashing light on the back already.
