OK a racist is bad I don’t deny, but murder is still murder and there is a reason it carries a life/death sentence… It can not be forgiven. To compare a racist with a killer just is BS.

I feel unable to maintain the level of hatred towards acts of Constructive Manslaughter that happened so long ago, most likely because no one I know was harmed by them thus making me biased in favor of looking the other way and the person seems to have turned over a new leaf.

Clear and present day racism on the other hand to me strikes more deeply because (to me) it is a sign that either someone’s brain isn’t working right, or they were raised with deplorable values about how it is okay to blame and persecute people for things which are clearly beyond their control.

Thus I bow my head and admit that you are actually right about this one and I’m probably just operating with “liberal blinders” on and unable to properly view things in regard to the big picture.
