I think what happened in Texas last night backs up what I’ve been saying for years. They cannot win unless they lie and cheat and bend or change the rules to suit themselves. And sometimes, briefly, that doesn’t work. This is only round one of many more to come. Not just in Texas. They are determined to throw down whatever shit they can to “win”. There’s lots of money out there backing this shit up too.

My question has always been WHAT will they or have they “won” when they get their way? Because seriously, the country they are trying to create is not going to be a place anyone will want to live in. And that I suspect includes many Republicans. This is utterly terrifying to me. However, I think what these assholes want is for people to become so totally disgusted and afraid that they simply give up. We can’t let that happen.
