My screwy little town just got screwier. The superintendent of the school district told two principals to fire the three most successful coaches in the high school’s history [budgetary issues, I think], and they wouldn’t. Instead, every coach in the district submitted their resignations, and now the superintendent’s last day will be Friday. The rest of the week should be uneventful, right?

What a schmuck. Why didn’t he fire ten or twelve science or history teachers instead?
