It’s not even that. It’s that they ignore that the RNC playbook would have been used at Bernie and a lot of Bernie’s mystique would have been gone and the public would know Bernie as that kooky guy who stole his neighbor’s electricity, honeymooned in the USSR, had a weird fantasy novel, etc. TBH a lot of the things they would have used against him I think are pretty tame but if they think the GOP wouldn’t have enjoyed going at the bit against someone who had literally actually vacationed in the USSR when they got away with calling Obama a socialist, you’re delusional. They want to ignore that Sanders had faults too. And honestly it’s a shame that they can’t see that.
