It’s complicated. I would like to see a pregnant teenager, and her partner, assuming he is of reasonable age, left as much alone as possible. However, when you start to play ‘Christian family values and honest rural folks’, it becomes a more dicey issue. My key criticism of Palin’s dealing with her daughter’s pregnancy was the announcement that the kids were getting married, and the parading of Levi in front of the country.
