I know. The only think i can think of is that the members think that joining a Jewish firearms group lends them more credibility. Still, it’s kind of a creepy thing to do - join a group not of one’s religion just to pimp firearms. Isn’t that what the NRA is for?

Some gun nuts (and I use the word in a sense that include most of my family), are just into the idea of helping out people they see as being vulnerable by arming them to the teeth. Women, usually, but Jews could also fall into the category. They’re being helpful, it can just sometimes seem sort of startling.
