I never watched it, but everyone was howling so much over the finale I looked up what happened out of curiosity.

This seems to be a thing with CBS shows though. Heard a rumor that a reason Cote d’Pablo’s character left NCIS was so the showrunner could advance Tony’s story. Which is just damn stupid. Why does a female character interfere with writing for a Male character.
