I only watched because hubby likes to. I’ve had it with news. I think all US news blows. Specially when I look at Canadian news. I’m starting to see salaciousness come in more and more here, too, so who knows how long real news will be around anywhere. I know this, tho… Elvis definitely left the US of A.

My wife and I do not own a television set. We get our news from the local papers and on-line sources.

The Scottsbluff Star-Herald recently sent me a questionnaire asking me if I thought the paper leaned “too liberal” (no, it is very conservative), based on some political cartoons it published recently. I responded that no, they ought to be calling out Mr. Trump on every one of his attacks on the press, on siccing his supporters on the press pen, on running against the Constitution.

Instead, they printed comments from a bunch of people saying yes, they lean too liberal. (Gaaa.)

I get it I am about their only liberal subscriber but you’d think they’d want to protect their I Amendment rights and call out those that attack those rights.
