Quite likely. Plant seeds of doubt about evolution, then capture them for Jesus. Sometimes the reverse happens: the creationist wakes up to find evolution makes perfect sense, then has a crisis of faith.

Remember: if you believe in a completely literal interpretation of the Bible, then you must reject not only Evolution, but science, history, objective reality and logic as well, as the Bible contradicts them all and even itself as well in many places.

That is why these people will never give up their position, and there is no way to argue with them, we can only hope to limit the amount of damage they can do to the rest of us.
