Another in a long line of reasons why the SW prequels should have never been made.

I would propose that you could actually take most of the elements of the prequels and make a far more satisfying film trilogy that would feel like a good Darth Vader origin story and a satisfying crash of the Republic.

Lucas just can’t write, is too in love with his “rhyming” plot structures, and likes CGI spectacle.
