I’m not sure I’d call it obnoxious, but the question, while good in spirit, was poor in execution. It was a bit long-winded, and it had no hope of pinning Trump down on anything. He should have just led with “Are you concerned about forthcoming subpoenas?” and gone from there.

But with that said, Trump’s reaction was ridiculous. Demanding that Acosta’s mic be taken? And then the aide actually trying to physically remove it?!!? Leaving the podium to pace around and then come back to harangue Acosta when Acosta’s platform had been removed?
