The doubts on sustainability. I think an Egypt run by the MB and even more radical Salifist groups would be a disaster for far too many reasons to list. I’m not sure what the possibilities are but I don’t think it’s likely that the military is just going to drop the ball and walk away. Continued military leadership or at least some sort of power sharing arrangement is probably the best thing for everybody.

If the military takes control, the revolution is lost. It’s not Turkey there (yet, anyhow). I think the better outcomes are increasing the split between young and old within the MB, as well as helping the local liberals and socialists. I agree that the Salafists are a lost cause, though.
