They want to get at least 1 dose out to as many as possible and moving to boosters takes away from that effort.

I feel like that’s similar to when Fauci and health officials here were telling people who weren’t health care workers not to go mask up, primarily because of the shortage of masks within health care industry. Once the logistics catches up, they can get boosters going.

It’s all about mitigating risks, especially to the highest risk groups.
