She and others like her talk an awful lot about that, but they never define it. But it would not do them well to be specific, nor do they need to be. Goofy nonsense like “My grandparents didn’t need to lock their doors at night” and other such bogus platitudes seem to do the trick.

It is vagueness with a purpose. This “Former Glory”. This fictional “Golden Age”. Undefined because it works best that way. Hiding the fiction and the fascism.
