Thing is, the closer we get to August, the more convinced I become he’s not going to run. Just as running too early can lead to fatigue, running too late can mean all the big cash donators have already chosen a candidate and will be reluctant to jump ship.

Personally, I think if Goodhair is angling for anything, it’s for the VP slot. He’s not going to run, but he’ll position himself as a reliable wingnut lunatic for the base, so when the nominee is chosen, he’ll get tossed around as a safe VP choice.
