I think *lots* of people in the Republican establishment are desperate for a Romney nomination.

Just read a report where he won today’s caucuses in Washington state; he got 36% of the vote, but 75% of the delegates.

Washington State (81% reporting)

Mitt Romney - 15,980 (36%, 30 delegates)
Ron Paul - 11,102 (25%, 5 delegates)
Rick Santorum - 19,924 (24.6%, 5 delegates)
Newt Gingrich - 4,782 (10.8%, no delegates)
