As I understand it, the problem with the PR statehood vote is that it is “confusing” as there were two questions involved and the combination of results allows for a poor view of intentions.

Indeed, one could conclude that the powers that be designed the ballot to try and obfuscate the true desires of the PR voters.

I could almost believe in a conspiracy over this one.
