I had the History Channel on earlier today and they had both The Lincoln Assassination and Lincoln on. Gripping.

They really brought home the agony he went through over the whole lead up to and the civil war itself. I think the actual pain he went through gets glossed over with the ‘greatness’ of the man. He was still a feeling human, and it seems may have been more feeling than others. The right man for the times I would think.

I think he’s our greatest president.
