I agree in general. I see a set of priorities. Like illegal immigration, focus first on criminal possession. Twofer, felon jailed and guns smelted. Then those that lose the right, be it restraining orders, violent criminal charges, lose their minds. Then we look at transfer very carefully. Family inheritance is not like a local gun show sale, even in California where there is no show or private party transfer loophole. If California would not impede out of state transfers via DROS we would have less assault weapons here. Many details.
