Incumbents have tremendous advantages, even if they’re white supremacists and bigots whose racism and bigotry are well documented (see King, Steven; Scalise, Steve; and Trump, Donald).

Trump being underwater in polls is good and all, but look at state level polls only, and once we get down to who Trump actually will face in November 2020, can we begin to truly assess his chances.

After all, WH incumbents have pretty much won all but a handful of times in the past 50 years: Carter, and GHWB being two exceptions.

All true. It’s not gonna be easy. I just am not gonna despair until November 2020. We just gotta keep going.
