Right this isn’t really about Logan. This is about their racism and anything that “proves’ they are right to be racists. Like I said this could have happened at a frat party. Rape is a problem everywhere and in every culture.

Well, it’s about Logan in the sense that it’s also about their hatred of ‘liberals’, and anyone perceived to be one.

The rapists become symbolic of the Muslim other, but Logan becomes a symbol of the dumb liberal white girl who was too stupid to think that the Muslims would hurt her. This plays into another theme of theirs, that any Westerner who disagrees with them even a little is an idiot who thinks all sorts of ridiculous and naive things.

And then there’s the glee. They’re not even pretending to be sorry that her imagined idiocy got her hurt.
